Manufacturer coupons, internet coupons, store coupons.
Do you offer store coupons?
Yes. We generally have a few coupons in our weekly ad, but occasionally there are no coupons in our weekly ad.
Where may I find them?
In the weekly ad; extra coupon copies are provided at the store (on colored copy paper or extra ads)
May I use a store coupon and a manufacturer coupon on one item?
Yes
Do you exclude any coupons? Ex: above $5 off, BOGO offers, coupons for free product?
Excluded coupons include internet coupons for free items, other retailers’ coupons, any coupons that are flagged as fraudulent or “recalled” by the manufacturer
Do you accept Internet Printable Coupons?
Yes
May I print them in black and white?
Yes
Do you match competitor prices or take competitor coupons?
No, we do not match competitor prices and we do not accept coupons designated for competitors
What is your policy on overage: when the value of the coupon exceeds the value of the product? If the coupon exceeds the item’s value do you adjust the price of the coupon down? Ex: $1.00 off coupon on $0.97 cent product.
The price of the coupon will be adjusted down; we do not give money back to the customer for coupons that exceed the price of the product
Do you limit the number of coupons I may use per transaction?
We do not limit the number of coupons per transaction, however, store managers have the right to override this at their discretion. If you have an unusually normal amount of coupons to use, it is best to notify the store manager so he or she can assist the cashier with the order and help speed the process of matching coupons with products purchased
Do your employees understand “one coupon per purchase=one coupon per item”, not “one coupon per transaction”?
Yes, cashiers are trained to accept one coupon per purchase per item as stated in the policy
Concerning buy one get one offer. If your store runs a BOGO FREE promo, may I use 2 manufacturer coupons for the 2 products? Or may I only use one?
If an item is in our ad as Buy One, Get One Free, you can use only one coupon. This is a recent change as our registers have become more sophisticated. The free item is not a qualifying purchase, since it was not actually purchased – it was free. Therefore, a coupon can not be used in addition to a free product.
Are individual stores allowed to impose their own rules or vary from this policy?
Store managers are asked to follow the coupon policy as stated, however, they do have the discretion to not accept a coupon if it appears to be fraudulent, suspicious, or recalled. We recognize that many of our customers are using coupons to help stretch their dollars in this economy. While we have done our best to address most coupon scenarios here, each coupon is a unique offer. We make every effort to follow the rules and guidelines intended by the manufacturers who market the coupons. Coupon wording, coupon origination, or the current sale price in the store on a particular item can create a rare situation that is not covered here.
